We are pleased to announce that our Prime Campaign Aim to Establish British Civilian Memorial for the Occupation Generation of Channel Islands has been put forward as a Question to the UK Government at Westminster.

The Question:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of a civilian memorial to the people who lived under Nazi occupation in Jersey and the Channel Islands during the Second World War.

Of course our Question is not solely to UK Government but equally to bring Island Governments together for the Occupation Generation of Channel Islands of WW2.

The Table Question is inline with our Prime Campaign Aims .

Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey have officially marked the Occupation with for Jersey a Sculpture

in Liberation Square and a Liberation Monument for Guernsey . Channel Islands have smaller specific Memorials .

We believe its the first time this Question has been tabled in this context of a " Civilian Memorial "

Andrew Rosindell MP is Asking other Questions to the UK government in Response to our Communication Exchange.  Regarding the Occupation Files.

We working to get final Questions about Occupation Released - now 81 years on in time.
